Funbud is a first-of-its-kind app that was built to help parents find friends, activities and care for their kids. Whether you are struggling with your Work-Life balance or you are new in town, Funbud will always help keep your kids entertained and cared for. With its location-based algorithm, the app is engineered in a way that breaks social barriers and brings kids with common interests and compatible personalities together. FIND FRIENDS Funbud is at the forefront of helping parents find friends for their kids. In today’s society, kids are becoming lonely and dangerously attached to electronics, which in turn is causing a lack of social skills that they will struggle to build at an older age. But kids, just like adults, do not necessarily get along with everyone their age. They need to find friends that understand them. With this in mind, Funbud will easily help match kids with others that will click with them. FIND ACTIVITIES It is a common dilemma for parents to be unsure of how to keep their kids entertained. Instead of putting too much effort into planning new activities for their kids, parents can use Funbud to explore fun and exciting activities created by funbuds nearby. CREATE PLAYDATES Nothing makes kids look cooler than being the hosts! Parents can effortlessly create playdates on Funbud and admit other kids to them. Whether it is a big event like a birthday party, or a small event like a soccer kick around in the park, host parents can decide who to admit or decline before sharing any details. FIND FUNBUDS Whether it’s a planned date or a spontaneous meeting, all parents find themselves in a situation where they need care for their kids. However, unlike babysitters, the care that funbuds offer is not limited to babysitting; they can also be entertainers for birthday parties, tutors for different subjects or coaches for various sports. In order to make the kids feel like they gained a new friend, funbuds are mostly youth. SAFETY MEASURES With safety at its core, Funbud takes numerous measures protect its users: - In order to protect the kids’ privacy, there will be no pictures of kids on the app. Instead, there will be a collection of avatars to choose from. - All parents and funbuds are highly recommended to submit a picture of their IDs. Once verified, a check mark will appear on their profile. - Funbuds are subject to background checks before they can offer services. - Users will have the ability to report other users and events, which will be immediately looked into. - Funbuds will have a star rating system that users can use to rate them through. - There will be a responsive Customer Service team equipped with a sophisticated Admin Portal to restrict reported users and control content.
