"Santander iD" is the new global application from the Santander Group designed to offer you a secure, fast, and centralized authentication experience. With it, you can verify and authorize any signature request for your transactions, regardless of the channel where you initiate them, all from your mobile device with maximum protection. Compatible with all Santander Group entities that have adopted the global identity platform, "Santander iD" provides you with more security, greater convenience, and total control of your transactions in one place.(*)
SIMPLE
With the access information provided by your Santander subsidiary and your electronic email, you will be able to register easily in the app.
Forget the old ‘SMS’, the old ‘personal coordinates cards’, the old ‘signature alphanumeric key’, the old ‘crypto-calculators’, etc. Now, with ‘Santander iD’, you will be managing different verification systems so you can confirm from your own mobile phone any operation launched at any channel and any entity.
PERSONAL
We care about your safety, and also your convenience. For that reason, we have deployed mechanisms to adjust in a flexible way the verification factor that we will request from you at the app, based on YOUR context and preferences, and also on the characteristics of the operation that you are going to approve.
Besides this, we will also ‘bind’ your mobile phone to your identity uniquely, so we can be completely sure that no one can impersonate you from another phone.
FAIR
You know there are plenty of financial regulations in place, and sometimes they require us to apply different identity verification mechanisms to adhere to those norms. No worries, we will always try to make as much easier for you as we can that process. You will confirm your payments, your transfers or any other operation from your phone, in a secure and easy way -and abiding by the rules, of course!-.
Furthermore, as we told you before, at Santander we care about your security so, if we detect something strange, you will still be able to confirm your operations, but… maybe we will ask you for ‘something more’ to be completely sure that you are not being impersonated.
