absorbed is wellness, made for women's bodies. point your phone at a barcode, a label, or even a finished meal. you get a clear read on the ingredients, scored against what's worth knowing for your hormones, your endocrine system, your real life.
what you can do, from day one
— scan anything. barcodes, labels, full products, finished cooked meals. one tool, no category limits.
— understand what you scanned. plain-english explanations, ingredient detail, and our proprietary score that's built around women's health, not generic safety.
— ask the advisor. our in-app advisor answers your follow-up questions, the ones you'd normally type into a search bar at 11pm.
— join the community. you're not the only woman trying to figure this out. share, learn, and discuss with women doing the same work.
— know your air and water. live readings for the city you're in, so you know what you're breathing and drinking.
— find better, nearby. recommended health stores in your area, so the swap is one stop away, not an internet rabbit hole.
why we built this
women's wellness has a fear-merchant problem and a generic-clean problem. one side shouts. the other says "it's all toxic." we sit in the empty middle: evidence-aware, hormone-literate, and emotionally intelligent enough to know that the woman reading this is probably tired, probably overwhelmed, and already trying.
what makes absorbed different
— designed for women, by a woman. our co-founder built this because she couldn't find it.
— hormone-safe lens. we look at how products may affect women's bodies and endocrine systems, not just generic "clean" or "all-natural."
— evidence-aware, never alarmist. we reference peer-reviewed studies, hedge our language, show our sources, and treat you like a peer.
— empowerment over anxiety. every flagged ingredient comes with what to do about it — a swap, a store nearby, or a question you can ask the advisor.
the science layer, briefly
our scoring system draws on peer-reviewed research on endocrine disruptors, cumulative ingredient exposure, and women's hormonal physiology. we hedge — we have to. we show our sources. we don't diagnose, we don't treat, we don't tell you to throw everything out. we tell you what's known, what isn't, and what's actionable today.
a quiet note on privacy
at launch, you don't need an account. nothing to log into, nothing to remember, nothing to lose. when account features arrive in a future update, your data stays yours.
