Cascalume is a calm and colorful falling puzzle set inside a glowing twilight lattice. Pairs of radiant glyphs drift gently down the board. Slide them left or right, swap their order, and drop them into place. Line up three or more of the same hue in a row, a column, or along a diagonal, and they dissolve into a wash of light while the glyphs above settle into the gap. When those settling glyphs align again, a chain reaction blooms wave upon wave, and the light you gather grows with every step of the chain. A prism glyph recolors the tiles around it to spark a sweeping clearance, and a gale glyph sweeps an entire column clear the instant it lands. Three ways to play await you. Chase a set quota of a chosen hue when you want a clear and reachable goal. Settle into an endless descent that quickens as your confidence grows. Or sweep an already crowded lattice completely clear for a tidy sense of resolution. As your dissolved glyphs accumulate, luminous trails awaken and adorn your descents. Your chronicle, best scores, and preserved games are kept quietly between visits, so you can pause and return whenever the mood for a gentle challenge arrives.
