The International Hearing Society (IHS) is a membership association that represents hearing healthcare professionals worldwide. IHS members are engaged in the practice of testing human hearing and selecting, ordering the use of, fitting, and dispensing hearing aids/instruments and counseling patients.   The IHS 360 Mobile app supports education and engagement services, namely, a continuing program about online resources, member information, hearing healthcare communities, hearing healthcare conventions, and event information.   As the membership organization for thousands of hearing aid specialists, hearing instrument practitioners, and other hearing healthcare professionals and partners worldwide, IHS conducts programs in education/training, and encourages specialty-level certification for its members. IHS represents and actively advocates at the federal, state, and provincial levels to protect and promote the interests of hearing healthcare and empower hearing healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality accessible hearing care.
