Scenes and Music sync, plus steadier connections. • Scenes: save how your lights look and bring them all back with one tap, from the home screen, Siri, Shortcuts, Control Center or your Apple Watch. • Music: a new Music tab makes your lights move with the music around you. Choose Pulse, Party, Spectrum or Mellow, and set the sensitivity. Sound is analyzed on your iPhone and is never recorded or sent. • ELK-BLEDOM strips that dropped colors or effects now get them reliably. • New: older Keepsmile strips (KS03) and effects on iDeal LED lights. • A Govee light found over both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is listed once. • A command lost to a dropped connection is sent again.

More lights, and clearer help when one won't connect. • Strips that take a new Bluetooth identity after losing power are found again, instead of timing out. • New support for SP105E controllers (MagicLED app), IOTBT controllers and LEDnetWF mini controllers with a microphone. • When a light won't connect, Glow says why: it can't be found nearby, it won't accept the connection, or several strips share its name. After a few tries, it suggests what else to do. • Check This Light tells you when it couldn't reach the light, instead of asking about a change that never happened. • Reports have a box to describe what's wrong, and About Glow has a Send Feedback button. • Lights that came with only a remote: Glow explains why an iPhone can't control them.

Rooms are here. • Rooms: group your lights by room, then switch, dim, colour and schedule a whole room at once. With two or more lights, Glow opens on a home screen of your rooms, glowing in the colours of the lights that are on. • Just what your light can do: white-only lights get a warm-to-cool picker instead of colours, lights with warm and cool whites get both, and dimmers and plugs get only brightness and power. • A quick check when you add a light: Glow turns it red and asks if it did. If not, it tries the light's other versions until one works, so a strip that says one thing and speaks another is caught straight away. • Find Light Type: strip not recognised? Glow tries each kind of controller and asks whether your light turned red. No protocol names to guess. • Better help when something's off: lights that aren't responding show on the home screen, one tap from Check This Light, which can now fix strips whose colours are wired in a different order. • iPhone Duo: rooms and the remote side by side on the big display, laid out around the fold in book and tabletop poses. • Apple Watch: control a whole room, and pick whites on lights that have them. • More lights recognised, including G-Tab GT controllers, and several strips with the same name are each controlled on their own. • Privacy Policy and Support links in the app.
