LexiTrain is a vocabulary game for the curious mind. Each round, the app
picks a word from one of six languages and reveals 3 or 4 of its
consecutive letters. Your task is simple: find the longest valid word that
contains those letters in the same order.
Find a word longer than the hidden target and your points double. Pick a
higher difficulty and every point you earn is worth more. Three tiers,
calibrated on real-world frequency:
- Easy: words from everyday use
- Intermediate: words you read but rarely use
- Expert: rare and specialized vocabulary
Six languages, each backed by a curated dictionary so brand names and
proper nouns do not pollute the gameplay:
- French (Lexique383)
- English (Webster's Second International)
- German (wordfreq)
- Spanish (wordfreq)
- Italian (curated wordlist)
- Greek (modern Greek hunspell)
Reveal a word you do not know and Apple Intelligence writes a concise
definition in the language of the word, right inside the app. Bookmark
words to keep them in your personal library, share or export your list
through the system share sheet at any time.
The app tracks every valid word you submit and estimates your vocabulary
level on the CEFR scale (A1 to C2) per language. Your scores and your
library sync across your devices through iCloud.
No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking.
Just words, and the joy of finding them.
Some features (on-device definitions through Apple Intelligence) require a
compatible device. Requires iOS 26 or later.
