Microbid is 85% Member-owned and uses crowd-powered Auctions to help everyday people (ie. Buyers) and Businesses, Brands and Creators (ie. Sellers) easily connect, communicate and combine their money to increase their buying power (and get almost any item, good or service for 1% of the price) - while also increasing sales and exposure for Sellers. BIDDING = FRACTIONAL BUYING = DIGITAL OWNERSHIP Members can create viral, crowd-powered Auctions (free) around almost any item, good, service or even idea imaginable and let other members fractionally "bid" and buy into it. Bids are made in $0.001 increments (ie. 1/10th of a penny) and once an Auction reaches its 1% reserve it's eligible to be won by either the highest final bidder or the bidder with the highest Loyalty Score. MICROBID LOYALTY - THE MOST POWERFUL LOYALTY PROGRAM ON THE PLANET Every single bid members make also gives them the potential to win "Instant Rewards" like gift cards, prizes and even the outright auctioned Item, Good or Service they're bidding on. And, once an Auction is over bidders have additional opportunities to receive Consolation Rewards + Bonuses, like the 10% Winner Referral Bonus. Microbid is sort of like Groupon meets Ebay meets the Starbucks App. We've combined one of the oldest industries in the world, Auctions, with the power of crowd-funding and a social media to create the most powerful E-Commerce, Sales and Growth Engine the world has ever seen. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Note: The Microbid App uses background GPS Location services to help users receive location-specific Crowd Auctions, Announcements, Messages, Notifications and Alerts - as well as automatically check-in to Microbid or Microbid Seller Events, Jobs, find Auctions and Events in real-time, know when Winning Bidders have arrived, etc. For example, if users are near a particular Microbid Seller who has Auctions that you've bid on or follow - or that Microbid things you might be interested in, then you may receive a location-specific Notification about that Seller/location and their Auction Offering(s). In addition, this also helps stay in communication with users who may be at a particular event like a festival or concert where Microbid and/or Microbid Sellers are. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
