Behind the Scenes
The MooLogue sound library was created using more than 1000 hours of field recordings collected across several dozen Canadian dairy barns. Calls were recorded in key farm environments including feeding stations, water troughs, hay areas, and milking parlours. Each sound has been carefully categorized into emotional states and social contexts by a research team specializing in livestock bioacoustics. This rigorous process ensures that what you hear is not only authentic, but also scientifically meaningful.
