Participants meet in weekly Zoom sessions for the program’s educational components, and also have the opportunity to virtually meet with the program’s interdisciplinary team for private coaching. The Family Wellness Program team consists of a certified "nutritionist, an exercise kinesiologist, a health psychologist, licensed medical social worker and an MD overseeing the program. Program participants are able to track their fitness in group and solo workouts through the devices they receive at the beginning of the program." In the year to come, the Family Wellness Program collaborative will continue providing high-quality nutrition education, fitness support, and medical care, which are all critical to shifting the health outcomes of our community members.
