Postil connects the Bible to everything being taught, written, and said about it — so Scripture never dead-ends at the page. Tap any verse and you'll see the sermons, articles, podcasts, and cross-references that actually unpack it. Alongside a full Bible reader — six translations including KJV and WEB, cross-references on every verse, a built-in Strong's dictionary for word study, adjustable text size, light and dark modes, and search across every book, chapter, and verse — Postil gives you a curated feed of Christian content from creators, ministries, and news sources worth trusting. No algorithm chasing outrage, no noise. Most Bible apps stop at the text. Most news apps chase engagement. Postil tries to do neither: it's one place to read Scripture, find commentary worth your time, and follow the people actually shaping Christian thought right now. The feed pulls from vetted creators and ministries across articles, podcasts, videos, and news — sortable by Hot, New, or Top, filterable by type. Postil Partners are creators who've linked an account with Postil; follow them and their content gets priority placement in your feed. Save anything to come back to later, and follow the sources you trust most. Browse by what you're actually curious about — Bible & Scripture, Theology & Doctrine, Spiritual Formation, Church & Ministry, Christian History, Life & Culture, Apologetics & Culture, Current Events & Ethics, Missions & Evangelism, and Interviews & Conversations. Every piece of content has real discussion under it, not a comment section left to rot: comment, "upcross" what resonates, and use real moderation tools — block, report, hide — when something needs it. Pick an avatar from the built-in set to represent yourself. Stay in the loop with notifications when someone replies to you or a creator you follow posts something new. Listen to podcasts in the background with full lock-screen and Control Center controls, and keep articles, videos, podcasts, and their comments together in one reader instead of bouncing between apps. Postil Pro removes ads from your feed and Bible verse content cards. (Video, podcast, news, and article ads come from third-party embeds outside Postil Pro's scope, so those aren't affected.) Whether you're studying a passage closely, catching up on Christian news, or looking for a podcast willing to engage hard questions, Postil brings it into one trustworthy, distraction-free feed. Version 1.1.0 - A big update for your Bible reading: Highlight and note any verse — swipe to quick-highlight or jot a note, then find everything later in the new My Notes screen, sorted by book, color, or date. Listen while you read — free chapter audio narration is now built right into the Bible reader. Compare translations side-by-side, right where you're reading. Three new full-year Bible reading plans — Canonical, Chronological, and M'Cheyne — join our existing topical plans, all self-paced with progress tracking. A refreshed look across Settings, the Daily Devotional, Explore, and Profile — cleaner type, warmer colors, a more book-like feel. Plus, dozens of smaller fixes and polish from real user feedback.
