Potoca is a 2-player game created to help players learn more about each other. It’s a nod to a local slang for chitchat, inspired by countless hours of banter with my friends. It’s this love for party and conversation games that sparked the creation of Potoca and all its unique minigames. Designed as the ultimate icebreaker, it’s perfect for forging new friendships and strengthening old ones. In a world where individualism often takes center stage, Potoca aims to bring people together, fostering genuine connections. Awarded in Apple's Swift Student Challenge, it (finally) launches with eight mini-games: - Stop: quickest to say an example that correspond to a prompt (ex: Fruit that starts with A) - 30 Second Showdown: quickest to complete a challenge in thirty seconds! - Association: speak words associated to the last one said! - Heads Up: a guessing one! guess the thing the other player assigned to you - Just a Min: you'll have to spend a second answering a question uninterruptedly in this one - Laugh Challenge: can you hold your laugh? - Never Have I Ever: the classic high-school game! - Quiz Duel: how many questions can you answer in 30 seconds? Potoca is an easy and fun way to meet new people and discover more about the ones you already know!
