Export as PDF now follows your page breaks. Add page breaks the way you do in Obsidian or Typora and each section starts on a new A4 or Letter page. Documents without page breaks still export as one continuous page, easy to read on screen. Print and PDF export keep code blocks and callouts in color, on a light page even when you read in Dark Mode. QuickMark now opens Markdown files ending in .mdwn and .mdtext, alongside .md, .markdown, .mdown, .mkd and .mkdn. Settings ▸ Folder Access now says up front that Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive folders can't be added on iPhone and iPad yet. For documents with images, keep them in iCloud Drive or On My iPhone.

Open Markdown from Google Drive, Dropbox and Files. Sharing a .md file and tapping QuickMark now opens it in the app. Files that iOS hands over as read-only copies are moved into QuickMark's documents first, so your edits save. If a file cannot be opened, QuickMark says so instead of doing nothing. Settings has a new Folder Access screen: see every folder you have granted for images, and swipe to remove one. Pages you publish to the web get a resizable outline, the full heading on hover when a title is too long for the rail, and anchors that jump the moment you tap.

Page breaks. Mark a break in your Markdown with a pagebreak comment, a page-break div, or the page-break class, and QuickMark draws a labelled dashed rule in the preview. Printing a published page from a browser splits there too. The Obsidian, Typora and Pandoc spellings all work. Obsidian vault images. Image paths now resolve the way Obsidian resolves them, against the vault root instead of the note, so an image kept in an attachments folder finally shows up. One folder grant at the vault covers every image in it. Publish without handing over the source. A published page can now hide its Markdown download, so readers get the page and not the file. The publish sheet opens tall and lists what it is about to do while the options are still collapsed, so the settings are visible before you publish.

One new thing this time, and it is a setting. QuickMark can now count which features get used, so I know where to spend my time. Your documents are never part of it: not the text, not the names, not the file paths. Nothing is tied to you or your Apple ID, and no analytics company sees any of it. Find it in Settings under Privacy. Switching it off stops collection immediately.

- 36 code themes, with ten favourites grouped at the top as Recommended, so finding Dracula or Nord takes one look instead of a scroll through the alphabet. - Reading theme and code theme stay separate settings. Essay prose with a dark code palette is a perfectly good combination. - Your code theme choice now sticks across updates.

- Inline HTML in your Markdown now renders instead of showing up as raw tags. Collapsible details/summary sections, kbd keyboard keys, HTML tables and images, centered paragraphs: they all display the way GitHub shows them. - Works everywhere your document goes: the in-app preview, the web preview, and pages you publish to the web. - Safety stays on. Scripts, event handlers and javascript: links are stripped before anything reaches the page.

Local images now display. Pictures saved next to your Markdown file render in the preview: relative paths, subfolders, and Obsidian-style ![[image]] embeds (including |width sizing). When a folder needs permission, a one-tap banner asks once and QuickMark remembers your choice. Thanks to the reader who reported this. If you spot anything else, Settings > Send Feedback goes straight to the developer.

- Housekeeping: we refreshed our App Store listing so it finally matches the app. Nothing changed inside QuickMark this time.

Stability improvements and under-the-hood maintenance to keep everything running smoothly.

Published pages now keep themselves in sync. • Your edits reach the live page automatically, shortly after you stop typing. • Open a document on another device and it picks up the latest version. • If the same page changed in two places, we ask before overwriting — nothing is lost. • You can sync on demand any time, or turn auto-sync off, in Settings.

Publishing improvements: - Push and pull changes: when a published page was updated from another device, QuickMark shows a banner and lets you pull the latest copy with one tap before you push your own changes. - Download from Web: save any of your published pages back to this device from the Published list. Bug fixes: - "Open in Editor" on your published pages now reliably finds the document saved on your device, even if you previously kept more than one copy of it. - Better cleanup when a published page is no longer online.
