-New Feature (For Pro Version): There is now a "Quick Grade Calculator (% correct)" on the third page of the main menu. How it works: Select the number of questions on the exam or quiz (up to 1,000 questions max), then select the number of incorrect answers. It will then show you the score (percentage of correct answers). -For new users, now "disabled" rather than "missing" main menu buttons are shown in the case where those buttons are unavailable. If you tap the disabled buttons, it should tell you why they are currently unavailable (e.g., that more info about the class is needed first). -Adjustments to Student Name Display on seats with Photos. The new name labels may stay within the bounds better now, but this may mean they cover up the photo undesirably; you can use the top-right menu to make the font smaller if desired. They should resize with the scale text option better than they were. The dark background behind the student name labels on photo-assigned seats has been reduced in darkness to improve photo visibility. -Bug Fixes surrounding pinch (zoom/scale) features on some seating charts. -Minor adjustments (rounded corners, layouts) were made to (1) the Summary Date Options Prompt, (2) the Summary Display, and (3) the Group Options Prompt -For entering and viewing summaries of Homework and Attendance, "In" was changed to either "Handed In" or "Present" and "Out" was changed to either "Absent" or "Missing" -Group Screens (options and group display) have more rounded corners on buttons and text fields. -For non-English languages, recent changes to the View Summary option caused the translation of the button to be lost; this corrects that. -For the US English language, the "Select Class:" button text was recently accidentally changed - and this corrects that

-This is a minor update: The "Pick Random Student" screen layout had some minor adjustments to make the progress bar more visible (the progress shows how many unique students have been picked, and progress until we start again with another round of calling on those same students in a semi-random order) and make the "Pick Next Student" button look more like a button. More spacing was added at the bottom of that screen as well. This update is being released with just this fix because I had to update the App Store screenshots to match it while the changes were fresh.

-Homework/Attendance Summary Overhaul: Allows date ranges rather than picking the number of columns/days to include. Also allows pinch-to-zoom and pinch-to-change font. Printing has been moved to the top-right 'hamburger' menu in the summary view. -Minimum iOS version changed to 18.6, as the app now uses features that require that version or a newer one. -Space that was reserved for several "date spinners" (date selection) was reduced horizontally to make it easier for users on smaller screens to scroll past them if necessary. -Found and fixed a bug that may have affected the saving of pinch zoom values on seating charts, and may have resulted in the app using more storage than necessary -Minor pinch-to-zoom code changes throughout the app. -Fixed some Translation issues for some previous print-to-printer output.

-Fixed a bug that may have made the Behavior Summary Date Range incorrect when the summary was shown.

-The Backup (Export) and Restore (Import) functions will now pop up an informational message before having you select where to place/locate the backup file.

-App Store description is now corrected after some recent bad edits. When urgent app updates (newly requested features or bug fixes) need to go out (this is not one of them), the app store listing gets lower priority for clean updates. This update fixes a few recent edits to the app description that needed correction. After the recent updates, the number of new users downloading the app decreased significantly. Upon re-reading the descriptions, it was clear that errors were introduced by the AI tool used to help create the descriptions. -Small code change which may result in improved performance.

-Minor Updates (Some displays of Student Names were revised, another back button display fix for iPhone missed by prior update)

-You can now also pinch-to-adjust font sizes on seating charts in addition to pinching to zoom. Pinch-to-zoom is the default, but on the top-right menu of most seating chart screens, you can select pinch-to-adjust-font. It will remember your adjustments, but keep in mind that different seating charts have different adjustments because the amount of text displayed can vary by purpose. -App Store Seating Chart Screenshots updated to reflect adjusted font sizes having been set. -Visual Bug Fix: A recent update accidentally removed the display of the date on seating charts where you are viewing a previous date's data. This update puts that back.

-Title of screens that may have been cut off for longer class names or smaller screens has been made multiline. -Faded the not-set option on homework summary -Recently, on some screens, the back button was unclear, and it was corrected. -Many App Store Screenshots may have been updated to reflect the title/back-button changes. (There was a delay in this listing's update being released because I had previously forgotten to update the screenshots on this particular listing.)

-For attendance/homework/behavior summaries, the day of the week (Mon, Tue, Wed...) was added to the display or print output. -The behavior count was generally changed to put spaces between the behavior name and count (previously, they were packed tight). -Slight font adjustments to name labels on the seating charts for iPad -Slight font adjustments to summaries

-The new feature that was introduced in 4.50 (which involved tapping to lock drag and drop on the reassigning seats seating chart) had a minor visual bug that would make the student's picture temporarily disappear (it did not delete that picture, and only affected the displayed seating chart until it was redisplayed). This update fixes that.

-For reassigning seats, a requested feature has been added: You can now tap (rather than drag) on seats to lock drag and drop from working on those seats. This helps prevent accidentally reassigning seats you do not want changed. This strictly affects reassigning seats at this time. When you either recreate the seating chart or shuffle seats, the locks are cleared (reset). The locked seats will display a lock emoji icon and turn yellow when locked. -Bug Fix: Group 'total student count' could be wrong for the second time (or later) that the group options screen was entered. A similar bug was fixed for the 'students present today' count, but it was just noticed in testing that the total student count also needed to be reset each time -Corrected some recently introduced bugs surrounding localization (translation) of the app, including a couple affecting the default (English-US) language. -Added an English (UK) translation, similar to US English, but with a few spelling differences.

-"Present" on the attendance screen could have been black or white text, depending on how it was selected, and it was modified to be consistent -The App Name was retranslated into several languages

-Corrected Translation Issue (localization) with respect to the "Print" button text on reports as well as "All Behaviors" label on track behavior seaeting charts -Fixed a layout issue (may not be visible) with date selection for Attendance/Homework/Fire-drill-attendance

-Fixed an issue where zooming in (on iPhone only) would cause the left-most seats to be off the edge of the screen (beyond the viewing area). -Fix: A user in China reported issues with dragging and dropping to reassign seats. The drag-and-drop code was tuned up. -Shuffle Random Seats should work better for custom seating chart layouts and custom-assigned seats. Now it only assigns random seating to seats that were previously non-empty. Empty seats will remain empty after shuffling now, helping preserve custom layouts and assignments. -Students added when there is an existing seating chart are now automatically seated in the next empty seat. The first time this update installs, previously unseated students should all be assigned new empty seats if they didn't have one. If you are using the "Hide Empty Seats" feature, these seats will be new seats on your seating chart (previously hidden). If a new row needs to be added to allow for these seats, it will. You can use the manage seating chart menu to reassign seats or reposition the seats in space. -Reliability Enhanced: A 'sanity check' was added to verify whether more than one student was assigned (somehow) to the same seat, and if that was the case, it then reassigns the other student(s) to the next empty seat(s).

-Previously, If you clicked to show previously created groups, and there were no previous groups, the app would misbehave. Fixed.

-Now, if you select to hide empty seats, it should hide them from ALL seating charts. Previously, at least one of the seating charts did not honor this setting.

-Corrected bugs with group display/creation which only would appear on the second time (or later) a group was displayed for each time the app was run (the fix involved reinitializing the state in between). These bugs would cause "per group" options to sometimes have fewer students per group than requested, and if you viewed more than one previous groups, you might see "extra groups" that weren't part of the original group. -Date pickers and some date displays localized and added day of week. For example, instead of 11/18/2025 you are more likely to see something like "Tue Nov 18, 2025" - the summaries still have to be updated to display dates more appropriately - that is planned for a future update. -For non-us countries, added spacing on seating charts before status text near student names. For example: "John(absent)" becomes "John (absent)", but this does not affect the english version which already did that -Buttons on bottom of group display now have larger text on non-iphone screens. (Print, Copy, Delete). -The "Totals" added to behavior summaries are more clearly marked, slight layout changes. I can do better with this, but this update should be an improvement.

-Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements -Specifically: It became apparent that some app users may have been rotating the screen prior to the app being fully initialized (this resulted in maybe 4-5 crashes per month out of over 800 users, but is the most common [or only remaining] crash cause) and I put in code to try to prevent this situation from crashing the app now that I understand this may be how it was happening. I imagine this might happen if the user of the app is used to having this app in a certain size/orientation and taps the icon to open the app and while it is loading rotates/resizes it.

-Bug Fixes & Performance Imporvements, including a possible fix for a common crash while rotating the screen on the main menu, and the removal of debugging code which may have slowed down the app unnecessarily. -If run on a mac, font sizes on the main menu should be larger now. -For some non-english translations of the app, one additional missing translated word was added.

For Homework Tracking, added two new options/states for each student seat: (1) Excused, and (2) Online.

For "Behavior Summary by Date", now at the bottom of the summary, you should see rankings (from high count to low count. not including zero counts) for each student under each behavior. Some translations for recent changes that were not translated have been translated.
