GPS location is wrong

This app seems good except one major thing which is the most important to me because it’s the main reason I bought this type of watch. My own GPS location seems fairly accurate but my child GPS location is really wrong. In fact it has not moved from the incorrect location it started at when I first connected the watch to the app. It is stuck there even though the watch has moved locations. I wanted this watch so I can track the location of my child so this watch is almost useless if the child GPS location is wrong.
