NEW FEATURES
- Assisted Intelligence (BETA) is our brand new BETA offering in this release. Currently, it works on heart exams only. As soon as a heart exam is completed, the Steth IO app sends the exam to our cloud-based analysis service. Once the analysis is complete, the Steth IO icon on the exam page glows to show that the results are ready to review. This feature currently only displays whether the heart sounds are normal (S1 and S2 present) or whether there is a murmur in addition to the S1 and S2.
Note that data upload has to be turned on for this feature to work. Please go into Settings and then Assisted Intelligence to turn the data upload on.
- Segment menu. There is a new menu on the bottom left of the exam screen where the Segment label is displayed. From this menu, you can Share, Save, Annotate, Crop, or Delete exam segments.
- Sharing of exams is now enabled. From the Segment menu, you can chose to Share the current exam segment via various modes available on the iPhone. You can AirDrop a segment, you can share it via text message, email, or through any other app installed on your iPhone.
- Video tutorials. Under Settings and Help & Tutorial, you can find our new video tutorials
- Auto-detection of Steth IO device (BETA). When you start an exam, you will hear a short audio tone which helps determine whether the Steth IO device is installed on your iPhone or not. It will display the appropriate message.
