Tired of guessing when solving a hard sudoku? Demystify and savvy the compelling techniques that solve non-trivial sudokus. In any diabolic Sudoku there comes a point, where you have to guess OR... ...apply an advanced solving technique. Advanced solving techniques, like y-wings or x-chains, generally do not reveal the correct solution of one particular Sudoku cell, but rather eliminate potential candidates. SUDOKUSHORTS gives you UNLIMITED practice tasks to understand the logic of more than 30 state-of-the-art strategies and how they are applied. Each task is a snapshot of an arduous Sudoku, meaning you do not need to unravel the full Sudoku puzzle, but only THE ONE PARTICULAR STEP, that requires exceptional solving skills. This approach significantly increases the success of learning and the satisfaction of achievement for two reasons: No time wasted finding trivial cell solutions. Focus on ONE particular technique at a time. You can practice, practice, practice whenever you want, in small bites, effectively and efficiently. Each test covers ONE technique and each test has ONE solution. In each of the mindboggling challenges, you may either find all candidates that can be eliminated (SUCCESS) or only some of them (PARTIAL SUCCESS) or you fail (ERROR). In the latter case you may just try the next exercise. Once you feel comfortable with the specifics of one approach you may choose the next routine. For each challenge the full solution can be displayed by tapping the “SHOW”-Button. Moreover, each task comes with its tailor-made, fully animated tutorial, giving you the opportunity to learn and understand the logic of the technique and the way the technique is applied and to find out the candidates that can be eliminated with this technique. Each tutorial covers and explains the CURRENT task you are trying solve, not just a generic example. SUDOKUSHORTS does NOT bother you with any ADS and does NOT annoy you with any IN-APP-PURCHASES or SUBSCRIPTIONS. SUDOKUSHORTS can be played OFFLINE, whenever and wherever you want, all tasks are directly created on your device. Therefore, also, NO kind of any data, in particular your personal data, are required or asked for or submitted. SUDOKUSHORTS makes cracking the cryptic easy. SUDOKUSHORTS distinguishes by very easy game rules: Select a technique and you will be shown a partially solved Sudoku, with some cells displaying the final solution, some other cells displaying the possible candidates and – in some cases – some cells being fully empty. The situation is equivalent to a player’s progress, who gets stuck right at the point, where only a progressive procedure will enable continuation without guessing. Analyze the situation and once you find a candidate that can be eliminated, tap the respective cell which consequently magnifies its content. Then, you optionally may highlight the color of the cell, the color of one or more candidates or mark a to-be-eliminated candidate with a cross. Once you’ve found all candidates that are to be eliminated, tap the ‘CHECK’-Button, and the full solution is displayed. SUDOKU SHORTS deliberately does not show a game clock. Take your time to understand how to apply advanced techniques.
