Like expression trees, equation trees represent operands as leaves and arithmetic operators as internal nodes. Your goal is to balance the tree by rearranging the movable nodes in a way that makes the equation true.
Equation trees help you visualize the order of the operations as they trickle down from top to bottom, and they also provide an easy and intuitive way to rearrange the equation and gradually find your way to a solution.
The full version features unlimited levels that provide an endless supply of mathematical brain teasers at different difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme.
Each puzzle has a general difficulty level from Easy to Extreme based on the topology of the tree. The actual complexity of the corresponding equation depends on the specific set of nodes in the tree and the hints used, and is measured in stars from 1 to 6.
The general difficulty levels correspond to the following complexities: Easy -> 1 star, Medium -> 1-2 stars, Hard -> 3-5 stars, Extreme -> 5-6 stars.
Solving a puzzle earns you one of 6 titles based on the number of stars awarded for that puzzle, ranging from Beginner for 1-star puzzles to Grandmaster for 6-star puzzles.

Treequation can be played completely offline, with no ads or microtransactions. There is only one in-app purchase (IAP) to unlock the full game with unlimited puzzles. Even without the premium content, the free game includes 45 full puzzles with a tutorial and the first two difficulties: Easy and Medium.
