Markdown formatting is now applied automatically to files with the correct extension (.md, .mdown, .markdown, .text). Files with the .txt extension are now always treated as plain text files. • Added menu commands to jump to the previous or next outline. • Changed the keyboard shortcut for moving the current line up or down (it has been assigned to the “jump to previous/next outline” command). • The Show Preview menu command now shows some of the navigation buttons that are already available when the editor is visible: you can navigate to the previous and next document or open the sidebar to open a new document without leaving the preview. To go back to the editor, toggle Show Preview again. • Fixed an issue that caused the text of short documents to scroll slightly up after entering a new line and down again after typing the first character in the new line. • The volume for typewriter sounds has been lowered. • Fixed an issue that caused Markdown commands like Bold and Italic to not apply live formatting. • Fixed an issue that caused the Writing Direction to not be applied to plain text paragraphs in Markdown documents. • Fixed an issue that caused the file extension to be removed when renaming a file from the navigation bar.
