The dendrological park that surrounds the University on all sides, protects it from the monotony of the town as an island of greenery, perfectly integrated to her role as a model of her disciples of Asclepius, determined to relieve human suffering and help others. The Faculty of Medicine was founded over 75 years ago and is currently a landmark of national and international medical education.
