Learn a language by talking (or texting) with realistic characters in realistic scenarios. Textbook dialogs are boring and artificial. Have your own dialogs about the situations and topics you care about. If you make mistakes, or need to use English words, don't worry! Your conversation partner can understand and keep the conversation moving. If you don’t understand something, translations, transliterations, and in-context explanations are only a tap away. After a conversation, get an in-depth review of how you did, with suggested improvements and ideas of where to take future conversations. You can even "snap a photo" to help you remember the conversation in the future.
