New Features

Guest Pass + Sharing

We love sharing, so we made it really easy to share magazines and articles with your friends, even if they’re not New Internationalist subscribers. Guest passes are automatically created when you share an article on Facebook, Twitter or Email, so even if your friends aren’t subscribers, they can read the article you share with them online.

Categories

Select articles by theme, topic or category. Browse by themes such as country and topics such as sustainability or human rights and see all articles tagged with that theme.

In-Depth Search

Search the complete archive, even when you’re offline. Type the words or parts of words you'd like to search, and articles appear as you type to match your search terms.

Extended Archive

Our previous app featured issues from October 2012 onwards, this has been extended by four years to October 2008. That's forty more issues bundled with your subscription!

Offline Reading

When on a magazine table of contents, double-tap the cover and a dialog box will appear asking if you'd like to download the full issue. Once it finishes downloading, it will tell you that the magazine is ready for offline reading.
