Updates due to some changes in backend services. 1- Removed the "time to location" geocode function due to 3rd party provider announcing an end of support for the project. 2- Added a new link under the "More" tab to the EHSF's own "PA Medic" hospital status system, which may provide divert, phone numbers, and more for hospitals. 3- Fixed an issue where map locations were not opened in some mapping programs.

Minor bug fixes to keep things up to date.

This release is a major update- the entire application has been rewritten from scratch to fix some bugs and to work faster on more devices. The hospital filter function has been changed to not present an overlay that obstructs hospitals. Notification handling was also updated. Share function was fixed. Many other visual enhancements were added.

It may have a longer URL, but it shouldn't cause any sharing problems anymore - Tweaked the back-end rendering of protocols when clicked - Fixed some subtitle problems with hospital capabilities

Critical update- due to a limitation with the prior hosting provider, we had to make a quick switch. This update restores connectivity to all resources

New- Added a filter button to the Hospital List to filter by Stemi, Stroke, Trauma, Burn, or Pediatric Centers. Updated- Hospitals with latest joint commission, PA DOH, Mission Lifeline, and Chest Pain Center data to make sure capabilities are as accurate as possible. New protocols are due out in a few months, and this update puts into place some back-end improvements so that when they are released, you have them available quickly! New- Share links to protocols using the share button at the top-right of a protocol page. This creates a link that can be mailed, copied, messaged, or opened in any browser. New- Added a "Regional" page to resources to begin categorizing a searchable list of all regional protocols and important forms for each region. As many providers work in multiple regions, we display everything and make it searchable with a region prefix affixed to the start of each regional resource. Prior regional items have been moved. Official regional documents can be added by reaching out to support. Fixed- Increased compatibility for iOS devices that do not use a home button.

Updates- 1) Dropped the drawer menu in favor of tabs across the bottom, which should be helpful during one-handed protocol browsing. 2) Separated resources into "Lists" vs "Information Bulletins", now both are accessible via the "More" tab 3) Set a safe area for users on the iPhone X so that headers and protocols aren't cut off 4) Fixed "Pull to Refresh" so that it is standard across all screens. 5) Changed color scheme of headers to dark in order to help those who work at night 6) Added styling, icons, and made minor memory and network communication enhancements.

New- Resources section now includes a live-loading list of other updates like EMS Information Bulletins, Scope of Practice changes, Approved Med Lists, and more. As always, this is up-to-date (including bulletins since 2017) and searchable! Fixed- Rendering bug when zooming in on documents, especially in landscape mode Moved- Old Resource items now moved to the "About" section.

This release is a major update to the app to make sure that providers always have access to the most current protocols when treating patients in the field AND now includes hospital traffic/distance/travel time information for all users! Ads were removed, the geocoding behavior changed, and search/overall appearance of this application tweaked to provide the best look possible. PLEASE NOTE: This version requires an active internet connection to function properly. This is to make sure that protocols do not sit outdated and allow for quicker updating when things change. If you require offline access to protocols, this version may not be for you.

The content of this app has been updated to include the 2017 version of the latest protocols. Please check with your medical director if you plan to use the 2017 edition of these protocols prior to September 1st, 2017. Updates include- New Human Trafficking Protocol, New Glucose Measurement Protocol, Spine care changes, Naloxone administration updates, Excited Delirium protocol, and indexes added to the app. No Critical Care Protocol updates were noted, so the app still uses the 2015 edition of those.

Fixed- bug that prohibited ALS drug list from showing. Fixed- bug that caused Stroke Centers not to be labeled correctly if they weren't a trauma or STEMI center.

Updated protocol 7002, minor bug fixes and enhancements

This app just got a major update- a new "Resources" section! In this section is one killer feature- a hospital list that, if you enable geocoding, will filter the hospitals by those which are closest to you. Always make sure you're getting to the closest appropriate facility by enabling geocoding right away! Without geocoding enabled, you can still view/search the hospital list. Not only that, the new hospital list includes which resources are stemi, stroke, or trauma centers, so you can get to the right place that is closest to you quickly. Please note, most of the hospital entries were researched and done manually. If you notice any problems, please be sure to use the new contact-us feature in the app to let us know of corrections. The hospital listing requires a network connection to work, but it does allow immediate updates in the event something wrong is found. Also includes minor bugfixes, an option to remove ads through an in-app-purchase, and some general UI tweaks. Enjoy!
