SongDiary is a private journal for music.
Write long-form entries about specific songs — what they mean to you, when you first heard them, the memories they’re tied to. No star ratings. No comments. No followers. Just you and what the song made you feel.
WRITE
• Search any song in Spotify’s catalog, or pick one from your recently-played list
• Long-form composition with auto-saving drafts, so nothing’s ever lost
• Save songs for later when you’re not ready to write yet
• Edit any entry whenever you want
BACKDATE ANY MEMORY
• Add an entry for today, last week, or twenty years ago
• Three date precisions: a specific day, a specific month, or just the year
• The diary groups your entries by date, with sections for Today, Yesterday, and every month and year before
SEE A SONG’S HISTORY
• Tap any song name in an entry to see every entry you’ve ever written about it
• Watch the same song mean different things to you over time
YOUR DIARY, YOURS ALONE
• No social features. No public profile. Nothing shared without you choosing to.
• Connect Spotify if you want, or just use search — Spotify isn’t required.
• Cancel anytime. Delete your account from inside Settings; everything goes.

Once a day, a quiet question — "a song that always makes you cry," "a song you played on repeat in college," "a song that takes you back to a person." Tap the prompt, pick
the song, write what it meant.
The prompt waits in your Diary. You can answer it, or skip it. Either way it'll be there tomorrow with something new.
