You can now select several items at once, and with Mapio Pro what you import arrives sorted into folders. • Select: in “Saved shapes”, tap Select, next to the title; in the map library, the checklist icon. Tick shapes, maps or folders (a ticked folder takes everything inside it). The bar at the bottom offers Move to folder, Export (shapes only, with Mapio Pro) and Delete. • When you delete what you selected, Mapio asks first and then shows “Undo” for 10 seconds, which puts everything back as it was, in its folder and in its order, with whatever was saved with it (a shape's management zones, prescription and paddocks; a map's points and photos). Deleting a shape from its menu also shows “Undo”. • Import KML, KMZ or SHP (Mapio Pro): pick several files at once. If a file has two or more shapes, they go into a folder named after the file, with subfolders if the KML keeps them in folders, and each shape keeps its name (from the KML or from a DBF field such as NAME). A zip with several shapefile layers brings them all in, each in its own subfolder. • Shape labels no longer overlap, you can turn them on and off from the layers button of the map viewer and of the online map, and small shapes show theirs as you zoom in. • Areas under 0.01 ha are shown in m² (and in ft² if you use acres) instead of “0.00 ha”. Fixes: • Accented names in a UTF-8 shapefile (as QGIS saves them) no longer come out garbled. • A KML with invalid coordinates could leave the app unable to save shapes until it was closed; those shapes are now skipped and the rest is imported. • A zip or KMZ compressed with the Finder on a Mac no longer fails because of the files the Finder adds (__MACOSX).

Maps people send you now open in Mapio, and what you measure can be shared for free. • Open with Mapio: a PDF or TIFF that reaches you by WhatsApp or email, or that sits in Files, opens in Mapio. Tap Share and choose Mapio: the map is imported and opened. If you were on another screen, a notice tells you it was imported, with a button to open it. It is free. • Sharing, for free: a saved shape, with its area, its perimeter and a Google Maps link to a point inside the field; the measurement in progress, with the share button on its banner; and your location, by tapping the coordinates. By WhatsApp or wherever you like, with the link to Mapio at the end. • In Settings: “Rate Mapio” opens the App Store page and “Recommend Mapio” lets you send the link to someone who might find it useful. • What you export as KML, KMZ or GPX carries “Made with Mapio” and the link to the app. • Measuring by GPS, a walk is no longer lost with one tap: finishing offers Save or Keep measuring, and leaving, clearing or switching tools ask first. The point editor also asks before discarding your changes. Fixes: • On iPhone, a shape's menu could fill the whole screen and would not close. Now every bottom menu closes by tapping above it or pulling it down, and the back swipe from the edge always responds. • On iPad, exporting did not get as far as opening the share sheet for the file. Now it does.

Field analysis is here, in Mapio Pro: what the satellite and the terrain say about your field, with the source of every number. • Indices by date: NDVI, EVI, NDRE, NDMI and 19 more from Sentinel-2. You pick the satellite pass knowing how much of the field is clear of cloud, each index says what it measures and the paper it comes from, and tapping the map reads the value at a point. • Water: what was visible on one date, and the 1984-2021 Landsat history (JRC), with the hectares that had water at least 1%, 25% or half of the time. • Terrain: the height above the lowest part of the field and the landscape position (low spot, mid-slope, rise), from the Copernicus DEM, with a test against 38 years of observed water that tells you whether to trust it in that field. • What it is not, said plainly: terrain is a model with an error on the order of a metre, not a measurement, and water on one day is water seen, not a flood risk. • Export for QGIS: a zip with GeoTIFF, Shapefile with the hectares of each class, and a style for each layer with the app's colours. • Open it from the menu of any saved shape, for a single field or a whole farm. It needs a signal: it downloads the imagery, terrain and water history on the spot. Fixes: • The app no longer closes when you zoom fast on the map. • When you let go of a pinch, the map no longer slides on its own. • Satellite zoning over-corrected some Sentinel-2 scenes that were already corrected; it now decides from the pixels of the field itself. Zoning you had already saved does not change on its own: to get the fix, zone the field again. • If you opened the app with no signal, the ads consent form did not appear for the rest of the session, even once the signal came back; the app now tries again on its own.

Colour your points, and the map now tells you when it is the saved one. • Every point in whatever colour you want, just like shapes: the gate in one colour, the water point in another, what needs fixing in red. You pick it from the point's own screen, with the same palette and the same recently used colours you already had for fields. • The colour shows where you need it: on your own maps, on the online map and in the list of points. The pin is outlined so any colour stays readable, both over satellite imagery and over an almost white PDF plan. • When there is no signal and the map is drawn from what you have stored, a notice says so. Before it looked exactly the same, and there was no way to tell whether that imagery was from today or from two months ago; deciding where a laneway goes on stale imagery is the kind of thing that costs a day of work. • The notice goes away on its own as soon as the signal is back: the app asks the network every so often, without using your data and without touching what you are looking at.

The online map now shows with no signal, using what you already downloaded. It also has search, labels and points. • What you have already viewed of the online map stays on the phone, so out in the field with no data it still draws instead of going blank. Laneways come to paddock planning. • Draw the lane on the map with your finger, as wide as it is, and it is taken off the grazeable area. Mark the water point and see how far the herd walks to water from each paddock. • Pick the system before splitting: front grazing, as always, or with a laneway. With a laneway every paddock reaches the track: the fence bearing is set for you, each side of the lane is split on its own, and paddocks with no way out are painted red. • The wire to move today is the right one with two sides too, and a lane in a loop splits the strip into the two enclosures it really is. • The satellite map and the PDF show the same paddocks as the planning screen. • With large system fonts everything is readable and tappable: paddock planning, measuring, dialogs and prescription rates.

Mapio now opens TIF, TIFF and GeoTIFF as well as PDF: the drone orthomosaic or your agronomist's image, with the same tools as always. • Paddock planning and zoning now show the map and the tools at the same time. • Zoning keeps running if you leave the screen, and the screen no longer sleeps halfway through. • Pivot curved edges render cleanly. • Ads now ask for consent where required, with privacy options in Settings. • Saving, import and purchase fixes.

NEW: ROTATIONAL GRAZING (Mapio Pro) Split any field into strips of equal area, with the wire lines drawn on the map and the area of each paddock in view. Rotate the bearing to fit them to the ground, parallel or across any side of the field. On pivots, by wedges and rings. Ask for how many paddocks you want, what size, or what rest and occupation rhythm. Or enter the forage you measured in the field — offer and residual — and let the app size the strip from what the herd eats. Enter head count and average weight and you will see, paddock by paddock, the instantaneous stocking: head per hectare, kg of live weight per hectare, area and metres of wire front per head. Plus the metres of wire to move one strip and to build the permanent paddocks. Paddocks export to KML, KMZ and Shapefile like any other shape, and stay drawn on the main map when you leave the screen. ALSO • Folders and tags to organise your fields and your maps, independent from each other. • Reorder by dragging, or by name, date or area. • Your GPS position now shows in management zones and in paddocks too. • Sharper boundaries on management zones. FIXES • On a new install the first measurement could not be saved: the import notice covered the button. Not any more. • Pivot rings now show when you go back to the general view. • An imported map keeps its original name.

This release is about working more comfortably with your fields. A name and a colour for every shape. Give it the name you actually use in the field instead of "Polygon 3", and pick a colour: there's a recommended palette, you can create your own with hue, saturation and brightness, and the last ones you used are kept. With twenty fields on the map, you find the one you want at a glance. Undo and redo while measuring. Several times in a row, and after clearing too. If you tapped one too many or nudged a point by mistake, you no longer have to start over. Delete a vertex. Tap it and choose to remove it. Also, tapping an existing point no longer adds another one on top of it. The tool turns off when you save. It used to stay active, so the next tap started a new shape you hadn't asked for. And pivot edges look clean in management zones, without the jagged outline they had.

This release is about speed and accuracy. Much faster maps. Plans with many vector elements and digitally signed PDFs could take several minutes to import and open. Now they take seconds. Management zones no longer freeze the app. The satellite analysis runs in the background, so you can keep moving the map while it works, and you can now cancel it. Cancelling also stops the imagery download. The data warning tells the truth. It used to show a fixed figure; now it reports how much it will download based on the years you choose. Your position, better placed. Fixed where the GPS, waypoints and shapes land on rotated or cropped PDFs, and the centre-on-me button.

Photos on pins, zone prescriptions and temporal stability. • Add photos to your pins, from the camera or the gallery: a weed, a gully, the crop's condition. With a full-screen viewer. • Variable-rate prescription (Pro): several products per operation, each with its unit and its rate per zone, headland included, plus the total to buy. The shapefile exports one column per product. • Temporal stability view (Pro): which parts of the field always yield and which depend on the year, following the validated protocol from the literature. • Your GPS position on the zones map: you know which zone you are standing in, to sample or walk to a spot. • The method sheet now opens with a short summary; details expand per topic. • More accurate satellite engine: complete image catalogue year by year. • The online map now tells you that you can also import your own georeferenced PDFs.

Export, import and satellite management zones. • Export polygons to KML, KMZ and Shapefile, circular ones included. You choose which (Pro). • Import polygons from KML, KMZ, SHP and ZIP (Pro). • Productivity management zones from up to 5 years of Sentinel-2 imagery, analysed on your own phone. The algorithm decides how many zones; if the field is uniform, it tells you (Pro). • Headlands are kept separate, so machinery traffic is not mistaken for poor soil. • You choose how much the boundaries between zones are smoothed, and see what it costs the map's quality on your field. • Export the zones to KML or Shapefile, one row per zone. • An "i" button with the full method, the sources and the limitations. • Vertices change colour while you move them, and you can drag them from an offset handle so your finger doesn't cover them. • Tap a shape in the list and the map flies to it.
