Call screen will also show status of muted microphones. - Encrypted backup export/import. You are now able to securely transfer your messages between devices and across platforms though an encrypted backup file that can be stored on your phone. For even easier migration, we have added direct WiFi transfer. Backups are never synchronized to the server or any external service and are under your full control. - Message reactions. Public chatrooms! - We are introducing a new type of chatrooms - public chatrooms. - You are now able to join a chatroom just by opening a link. - Admins can protect public chatrooms with a PIN and also manage users permissions inside the chat. Search for a message within a chat. - Tap on chat title and choose "Search" to open a search field, where you are able to find every message in the chat. We have also added a video recorder, so you can record and send short videos directly in the app.
