This version includes a number of small improvements. It also scans directories faster and maintains their structure on rescans. It had improved cursor and selection in all text editors and fixes alignment issue in Hex editor. And it includes a faster Hex comparison.

This version includes a number of minor of improvements: It corrects a mis-spelled word, corrects a refresh problem on filtering, and corrects two issues in the merge tool: it fixes a rare crash that could occur on some file selections, and fixes an issue where the output folder or file would need to be selected twice to register. This version relaxes the requirement that XMLs should have a declaration, making it support more XML files.

This version includes a number of usability changes to the app's user interface: - It handles column widths better and left-clips paths, making it more useful on wider screens. - It removes horizontal scroll wheel support, this prevents accidental scrolling by touch devices (mice, pads, etc) - Many smaller changes.

This version corrects a problem where the wrapped Text Compare could freeze on resizing of the app window. This version also makes changes that allows new APFS Time Machine volumes to handled better and added correctly when dragged and dropped to the app. (At this time visibility into such volumes is limited by the operating system and hence comparisons only work for traditional Time Machine backups. You can however compare to a specific APFS Time Machine backup by opening it in Finder and comparing it's content in Folder Compare or Text Compare modes)

This version both adds a rules setting for Folder & File separation and corrects a Folder & File separation issue. The new setting lets you select whether folder listings list subfolders and files separately or interspersed with each other.

This update includes a major enhancement: - You can now select to ignore text formatting during comparisons! This means line wraps, indentation, line lengths and programmer coding preferences such as where they put the opening braces after an if statement are not detected as differences in text to text comparison. This version of AmSo Compare corrects a missing label issue on some versions of MacOS and it improves the text editor by adding Undo/^Z capability.

This version bring a number of fixes and enhancements. The primary changes are: - The Standard setting has been split into Standard and Global. Standard are the app's default settings and Global are your overwrites to them. This change was made so both you and the development team have control of the app-wide settings. - Colors on Folder comparisons have been corrected. - The top row arrows buttons in Merge attempted to do full merges; now they properly work as standard copy buttons. - When a system is reinstalled, file system access granted to apps becomes stale; this version of AmSo Compare now updates stale access as it is used.
