New • Saved custom filters: build your own named views with a search and an icon, and add them to your timeline. They sync across your devices with iCloud. • Flat Pro Lifetime: buy Flat once and keep Pro forever. • Reddit feeds work again. If you use Reddit, open the new Reddit setting and follow the steps to get your feeds running smoothly. • Choose how each feed opens its articles: in Flat, in Reader mode, or in the in-app browser. • Keep your place more easily: turn on "Dim items you've caught up on" in General settings to gently fade the articles you've already read. • Your reading position can now sync across devices, so you can pick up right where you left off. • Swipe past the top or bottom of an article to jump straight to the previous or next one. Improvements • Shared articles now appear as their own feed you can manage like any other. • Article links now open in a full-screen browser inside the app. • Adding feeds is more reliable, especially on a poor connection. • The dark app icon is now a softer matte gray instead of pure black. Fixes • Fixed a subscription glitch where Pro could briefly fall back to Free right after launch. • Fixed a crash when saving an image. • Podcast episodes you delete by hand no longer get downloaded again automatically. • Fixed some videos in the queue that wouldn't start playing on their own. • Mac: video no longer jumps back to the start when you go full screen, and the next video keeps playing in place instead of forcing full screen. • Plenty of other fixes and improvements under the hood to make iCloud sync faster and more reliable, along with podcasts and the new-items notification.

This quick bug fix update improves feed refresh reliability. It fixes an issue that could make the article list flicker when opening the app or switching tabs, and another issue where the new-items button could appear repeatedly even when no new items were available.

Flat 1.0.4 includes the following improvements and fixes: - Image previews can be closed properly on iPad with swipe gestures and a close button. - Feed search text is easier to read in Dark Mode. - Podcast artwork is more reliable offline and when switching queued episodes. - The podcast widget now starts the expected episode.

Flat 1.0.2 fixes several issues: - Large feed updates are now less likely to leave items missing from the timeline. - Downloaded video podcast episodes can play without a network connection. - Video podcast detail screens now show the download action where expected. - Active subscriptions are now restored and recognized more reliably. - Video detail screens now refresh the remaining playback time after swipe dismissal. - Images in Readability mode now appear more reliably. - Regular links in social posts are no longer shown as link cards by mistake.
