Your original recipe card, preserved: scanned recipes now keep their source photo — open it anytime from the recipe page. Smarter scanning, too: when quick text recognition can't read a card cleanly, MyCookbook automatically switches to its deep reader. No toggle required.

Big reliability release. Your recipe photos are now stored safely and survive app updates. Cooking timers keep true time when you switch apps and ring the moment you return. Scaling now handles ranges ("2–3 cups") and every fraction correctly, and the grocery list adds duplicate ingredients together instead of listing them once. Plus sharper text, smoother image loading, a proper dark-mode launch screen, and full VoiceOver support throughout.

Recipes with multiple parts? You can now group ingredients into components — rub, glaze, sauce, dough — so a complex recipe stays organized instead of one endless list.
