Welcome to Next

Next is a universal planner and organiser that helps you define your goals, break them down into small tasks, focus on completing selected tasks, monitor progress, get reminders throughout whole journey of ideation, planning, execution and completion.

It is really up to you what you make out of Next, it can be used for maintaining a simple To Do list, Groceries lis, or a complex project.

Here are quick 3 steps to achieving your goals

Step 1 - Define your goal

Albert Einstein said: "If I had an hour to solve a problem, I'd spend 55 minutes defining the problem, and 5 minutes thinking about solution."

So make sure you are crystal clear on what you want to achieve.

Step 2 - Break it down into small specific actions (tasks)

Once you are clear what you want to accomplish, it is very important to break down that idea into very small and very specific tasks with a target due date. If necessary, tasks can be broken down even further, into subtasks.

Step 3 - Concentrate on a task

Once you have a list of tasks, next important step is to start working on a specific single task. The key phrase here is start working. Even if you are not sure that you have the full list, or not very clear how to solve it, start doing something. The very fact of work, will lead to ideas and solutions.

We hope that Next will help you achieving your goals, let us know how you get on.

What’s New

Version 4.0

Achievements certificates
As you complete tasks, Next will recognize your progress by awarding certificates for every new level in planning, productivity and discipline.

My day PDF export
Export your day schedule to a PDF file for review with your trainer, nutritionist, dietitian, or simply to share with a friend.

List PDF export
Sometimes plain text does not suffice, and a more refined format is needed for presenting records. Alongside the existing text export option, lists can now be exported as PDF files, accessible via the list's Share menu.

List progress
Recognizing the importance of tracking progress, we have introduced a progress indicator that can be enabled or disabled for every list individually through the list editing screen.

Collapsible list groups
You’ve been requesting this feature for a while, and though other priorities delayed its release, it’s finally here. List groups can now be collapsed, just like task sections.

Advanced prioritization
Next's prioritization system is already highly effective, but we're taking it to the next level. With advanced prioritization, you can now assign priority levels ranging from 1 to 50. This added granularity ensures your tasks are sorted with even greater precision, tailored exactly to your needs.

Searching
Global search in Next is a powerful tool for finding anything you need. However, there are times when you might want to focus on specific tasks within a list or locate a particular list itself. Additionally, the search settings allow you to define exactly what should be matched during your searches.

Tags update, month and year calendar
Tags now include an indicator that can be used in the month calendar to visualize the distribution of your tasks throughout the month. Tap the calendar icon in the top-right corner of the main screen to access the month calendar for detailed task management.

Other changes
- Enhanced task sorting
- Monospaced font for the Pomodoro timer
- Faster loading of blog images
- Ability to open specific My Day activities directly from notifications
- The Tools menu has moved to the Profile settings button
- General usability and performance enhancements
