What a disaster

What you do is very unfair. For someone like me who invests for the long term is not good. The margin line is a great way to rip people off. I only put about 2000 euro just to check what you’re all about and I would not put another penny because simply that I do not trust you and there are far better trading apps that does not sell what you buy if the market is not going that good so yeah maybe you hustled 2000 from me but in the long run the sun will clear the sky and people will find out what you are and what you do

Developer Response ,

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and leave your feedback.

Each of the trading instruments we offer on our platform is Leveraged.

With Leverage you can increase your “trading power”, i.e. Leverage multiplies your exposure to a financial instrument. When trading using Leverage you only need a fraction of the total value of your position, which means that you can open bigger positions than your deposit. For example: if you deposit $1000, when trading with Leverage of 1:50 would enable you to open a position or positions with total value of up to $50000 of instruments.

The amount needed to open a Leveraged trade is called “Initial Margin”. Leverage is used to describe the Initial Margin requirements required by Plus500 to be able to open a position on a specific financial instrument.

Essentially, the aim of trading on Margin is to magnify profits by being able to take out larger positions than you would be able to do with only your deposit. However, keep in note that at the same time, it increases your risk as it equally magnifies the possibility of losses.

It’s important to remember that you can lose more than the Initial Margin invested to open a position but not more than your account balance.

Leverage of “10%” (or 1:10) means that if the price of the underlying asset changes by 1% the price of the CFD will change by 10%. For example: a $10 balance Leveraged by 1:100 increases to $1000. This allows you to open position or positions with total value of up to $1000 of instruments.

Information about the predefined Leverage set per instrument can be found by clicking on the "Details" link next to the instrument's name in the platform's main screen.

Although trading Leveraged CFDs can result in a profitable outcome, trading Leveraged CFDs also involves a great risk of losing all the funds deposited in order to place and maintain the trade, therefore, you must be aware of the risks involved and should not trade with money that you cannot afford to lose.
