The Switch-it Remote Seating App measures and tracks the duration of seating angles in order to improve a client’s overall health through pressure management. Using Bluetooth technology, the App communicates with the tracking device included in the wheelchair. Reports are generated that show key seating angles, such as tilt, recline and leg elevation and the duration of these angles. At the client’s discretion, these reports can be shared via email to therapists and physicians. The information will aide in creating a pressure relief plan, including sending alerts to the client to adjust their seating. The Switch-it Remote Seating App will help improve a client’s success in pressure management and ultimately their health.
