TipMax is the private tip tracker built for servers, bartenders, and baristas. Log every shift in seconds, see your true hourly rate, master your menu with flashcards, and talk shop with people who work the same floors as you.
Version 3.0 is the biggest update yet: a redesigned app, a Community, and side income tracked beside your shifts.
TRACK EVERY TIP
Log a shift as fast as you can type it. TipMax saves as you go.
- Cash and credit tips, tip-outs, hours, sales, and steps
- Multiple jobs, each with its own fields and tip-out rules
- Pay periods for payroll-style totals
- Rapid Mode walks you through the shift log one field at a time
- Switching apps? Import your history from Waiter Pal, ServerLife, TipTracker, and JustTheTips
KNOW YOUR WORTH
Your time is money. See the real numbers, in figures big enough to read at a glance.
- True hourly rate (wage plus tips)
- Weekly, monthly, and pay period breakdowns
- Top shifts, best days, and insights on which job actually pays
- Income projections and goals you can watch fill up
- Side gigs and other income logged alongside your shifts, and counting toward your goals
STUDY SMARTER. UPSELL MORE.
Scan a menu and TipMax turns it into flashcards. Know the specials, the wine list, and the answer to every guest question.
- Scan or upload menus to auto-generate cards
- Spaced repetition tracks what you know and what you need to review
- Study offline anywhere
COMMUNITY
A place for servers, bartenders, and baristas to ask questions, share wins, and vent about the double.
- Post under a display name you choose
- Filter by role and venue type to find your people
- Questions, rants, wins, and polls
- Share a shift summary straight from your stats, only when you decide to
PRIVATE. ALWAYS.
Your earnings stay on your device and in your iCloud. Tracking never needs an account. Community is optional and pseudonymous, and your numbers never leave the app unless you share them yourself. You can delete your Community account and every post in one tap.
Whether you're living the full server life, bartending on weekends, or hustling barista shifts, TipMax is your secret weapon to work smarter and earn better.
Creating and viewing flashcards and logging unlimited shifts require a subscription.

• Redesigned: bigger figures, less to read on every screen.
Plus: Log Shift saves as you type, and fixes from your reviews.
