Unlock displays right in the app: • The Control Console stays free. For displays there's Basic (1 display) and Pro (up to 5) as subscriptions, both with a 7-day free trial, or the Event Pass for 7 days without a subscription. • The trial only starts with your first display, not when you sign up. • After purchase, a waiting display connects on its own. • Your purchase applies to your UbiStage account, on your other devices too. Also: • App news now also appears on Apple TV. • Displays that join later know right away when the Control Console is in the background, and keep counting. • If the network port is taken, the Control Console automatically switches to a free one.

UbiStage Timer is now available for Apple TV: • Apple TV as a display: the Control Console's timer appears large on any display or projector. Sign in with a code in the app under Profile → Sign in Apple TV, or at ubistage.de/tv. • Messages: clearing a message on the Control Console now also removes it from all displays, and messages appear even when no timer is running. • When all display slots are taken, the display now clearly says why it can't connect. • More reliable connection: displays notice interruptions more reliably and are back faster when the Control Console returns from the background. • The countdown on the Lock Screen now stays correct after pausing and resuming. • The network check now also tests whether two devices can actually exchange data.

The timer keeps running, even when the Control Console is busy with something else: • If the Control Console switches to another app, for example to check a message, the connection to the displays holds for a while. • If it takes longer, the displays keep counting down on their own, including the color change and the alert when time is up. A small notice shows that the Control Console is currently unreachable. • Once the Control Console is back, the displays sync up again automatically.

A more reliable connection and two free displays: • During the beta, two displays are now free. When the limit is reached, both the Control Console and the display show a clear message instead of silently doing nothing. • If the Control Console briefly goes to the background, displays find it again within seconds – no more restarting the app. • Displays stay connected even when no timer is running. • When a display leaves, its slot is freed immediately. • When the Control Console stops broadcasting, displays show a notice and reconnect automatically as soon as it is back. • “Back” on the Control Console now asks for confirmation while a timer is running. • The Control Console is now named “Control” plus a short device code by default instead of “localhost”. You can still rename it. • No more forced sign-out after 7 days without opening the app.

Better on every iPhone: • Host / Control: All controls now fit on screen, including on iPhone 15 Pro and smaller models. START and Send are no longer cut off. • Display: The title and live message are shown in full even on small iPhones, and the countdown makes better use of the available space. • Display: The digits turn orange in the last minute – just like on the Control Console. • Start screen: now fits every iPhone, down to iPhone SE. • Timer Key: The input field shows the correct format (UBST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX), the confirmation after activation is now in English, and activation problems are easier to trace.

Bug fix: The Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island now ends reliably when you leave the host view. Leftover activities from a previous session are cleared automatically the next time you open the app.

The app is now available in English – it follows your device language automatically. Signing in got easier: you can request the confirmation email again, error messages are clearer, and your address is pre-filled after registration. Links from the activation email now open the app directly, which makes setting up a second device much quicker.
