Danger surrounds the futuristic city of Haven in Destiny: Rising and the enemy won’t stop until your Lightbearer flame is snuffed out. Take the fight to the Fallen with these tips:

Before cashing in charms or currency for a new Lightbearer, tap the Trial button in their description. This will give you a feel for each hero’s unique powers (such as Attal’s Arc Missile, which zaps enemies as it ricochets between them). And you’ll earn some easy Lumia Leaves while you’re at it.

Don’t break cover in a firefight to pick up ammo. Just shoot it! Hitting an ammo pack with any weapon automatically collects it – a real lifesaver in a heated battle. This trick also works on Ether Flowers and other collectible resources.

Exchange those precious Lumia Leaves for the pink “L.E.” variant of Bon Voyage Charms, not the standard kind. (You’ll earn plenty of those through other means.) Only the pink variant can draw limited-time special-event characters, like Gwynn and Estela.

Joining a Pack has its privileges. Earn exclusive currency to swap for upgrade materials – plus you’ll have a ready-made group of allies for fireteam missions. Prefer to be a lone wolf? A Wanderer Pack is a loose collection of soloists that offers the same benefits.
