I was genuinely excited for AceCraft before its release and downloaded it the moment it launched. From the start, I loved the smooth mechanics, creative design, and overall gameplay. Within a few hours, I even purchased the ad removal and another in-game item to support the developers because I truly believed in the project. But now, after several weeks and reaching Stage 6-4 (Level 37), my enthusiasm has dropped sharply. The deeper you get, the more obvious it becomes that real progress—especially unlocking special pilots or completing certain events—requires heavy spending. It genuinely feels like the developers made the game intentionally harder just to push players into paying more. That’s incredibly disappointing. I had hoped this team would be different from companies like EA, but AceCraft is quickly turning into another pay-to-win experience. What once felt like one of the best shoot’em ups in years is now buried under frustrating design choices and an increasingly punishing economy.Around 85% of my recent play sessions end in repeated retries—three or more attempts just to pass a single stage. That’s not challenging in a good way; it’s just exhausting. And now that I’ve reached higher levels, “Modify” items are absurdly expensive, making it even harder to stay motivated. It’s a real shame to give this only 1 out of 5 stars, but that’s where the game stands today: a brilliant start slowly being ruined by greed and imbalance. I truly hope the developers listen to their players and bring back the fun before it’s too late.
