Thanks to an updated smarter user interface, PTI DC35.1-14 now includes the full set of observation minutes including intermediate ones: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 minutes vs the old set of 0, 1, 3, 6, 10, 30 and 60 minutes. That is more than twice the number of data! The user interface of the AnchorTest now scales to use full available width of your iPad up to the largest 12.9 iPad Pro screen showing all data in one go. On devices with smaller screens, AnchorTest automatically enables horizontal scrolling elements on Stressing Options and Testing Screens to reveal the full set observation minutes upon scroll. We are currently working on the Version 2.0 of AnchorTest, which will include the new international Eurocode standard, EN ISO 22477 for grouted anchors. So watch this space!

AnchorTest is now the ultimate testing tool for post-tensioned ground anchors with users in five different continents all over the world. This is a minor update with improvements for quick load testing and fixes to AFL analysis and graphing: - Quick tests with only single displacement readings (only zero minute) now engages AFL analysis. Previously multiple minute readings (up to 1 minute for BS8081:1989 and 3 minute for PTI) at peak test load were required to engage AFL analysis. - In Anchor Setup, "Cross Sectional Area of Tendon Element" in Imperial Units now has 3 decimal input precision with a default value of 0.217 sq in (was 0.22 sq in). With this improvement AFL estimation is now more accurate for Imperial Units. - Bug fix for correction of load levels in AFL graph. Before the data points for loads were delta values from initial(BS8081:1989)/alignment(PTI) load rather than the full load level. With this correction the starting hinge on the AFL graph, which was appearing for multi-step incremental loading, is no more there. - Up to 5 digits of integer input for load measurements (residual load readings for BS8081:1989 and liftoff readings for PTI) is now allowed for high capacity anchors.

This only works when the initial/alignment load level is set at a value not greater than the default load level at the second load step given in that particular standard. For example: 10,25,50,75,100,120,133% increments for PTI now can be changed to 5,25,50,75,100,120,133% or 15,25,50,75,100,120,133% if you set the alignment load to anything less than 25% – 5% and 15% in these examples.  - Usability improvement for the case when the residual(BS8081:1989)/lock-off(PTI) load is changed before testing, any customization of observation minutes, which was set previously on STRESSING OPTIONS page, was reset back to default observation times. Now the selected custom observation minutes on STRESSING OPTIONS page are held and isolated properly against any change made on the TESTING page.  - The photography module in the TESTING page, is now using the same preview UI with the cloud test detail module. One tap on any photo taken during testing will bring up this new UI. Improvements to Residual Load Monitoring procedure for BS8081 in which the residual load level is recorded as the first load reading and the other readings are compared to that first (initial) residual load reading rather than the predefined residual load level.

Advanced Jack Calibration is now also available for PTI DC35.1-14 as well as BS8081:1989 (previous update). Multiple pressure and load points can now be defined via a new module called Advanced Jack Calibration. To bring up this module, simply tap the plus (+) button next to the Jack Calibration label on the Anchor Setup screen.

Fixed the apparent free tendon length criteria for BS8081:1989, in which we removed the "110% times the free length" variant for the upper limit and retained "Design free tendon length plus half of the tendon bond length" as the only defining upper limit. This was due to the fact that the %110 limit is only used for end plate type anchors, which is not common and does not apply to the anchor setup available within the app.
