Assign Smart is the fast, flexible way to assign your staff to shifts — in any industry. Restaurants, retail, warehouses, security, hotels, clinics, salons, events, field service, and more. Build a live assignment board, share it with your team, and let Tunza AI do the heavy lifting.
WHY TEAMS USE ASSIGN SMART
• Build a board in minutes. Add your sections, zones, posts, or routes, drop in your roster, and you're ready.
• Import your roster any way you like — paste it, snap a photo of a paper sheet, or add people by hand. AssignMe reads names, roles, usual days, shift times, and emails.
• Auto-assign that actually fills every slot. Tunza balances the board, keeps people in the areas they know, and never leaves a spot blank when someone can cover it.
• Role-aware and schedule-aware. It knows who works which shift and puts the right people in the right roles — automatically.
TUNZA AI (paid add-on)
• One-tap auto-assign and rebalance.
• 24-hour look-ahead: the next shift is pre-staged from your roster, ready to promote.
• Coverage & backfill when someone calls out.
• Your rules, your way. Set standing rules for how your place assigns — Tunza follows them above its defaults and asks when it's unsure.
SHARE & NOTIFY
• Share a read-only live board with a link or QR code — no logins for staff.
• Email everyone their assignment in one tap.
• Staff self-service: team members claim open shifts and request time off or swaps from their phones.
• Push notifications keep managers in the loop the moment emails go out or a request comes in.
FREE & PAID
Manual assigning, editing, printing, and sharing are free forever. Tunza AI (auto-assign, 24-hour staging, coverage, notify, staff self-service, rules) is a simple monthly subscription. Start with a 14-day free trial — no card required.
Assignments are decision support: a person always reviews and approves. AssignMe works for teams of every size, in every industry.
