Adding a printer is now one guided sheet. Backfeed searches your network first. If your printer isn't there, it can set up a new one over Bluetooth or add one by its address. Once it's added, you can name it, Backfeed picks the label size it detects, and you can print a test label. A new test label fits whatever labels are loaded. Edge marks and a ruler show whether it's lined up. A solid band and fine patterns show print quality, and on labels with room, a barcode and QR code check that it scans. It also lists what Backfeed knows about the printer, like its model, connection, firmware and darkness. Shipping label on a letter-size page? Backfeed now finds the 4x6 label on the page and prints just the label at full size, instead of shrinking the whole page. You can still choose Whole page. New printer tools, free for everyone. Print Settings changes darkness, print speed, tear off or peel off, and media type, and Undo puts them back. Calibrate Media measures the labels you have loaded. Diagnostics prints the printer's own settings label and shows its label counters. If the printer isn't set to ZPL, Backfeed says so and switches it in one tap. Restore Printer Defaults resets the print settings and keeps your Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi setup over Bluetooth now accepts passwords with any keyboard character. If a printer can't join, Backfeed tells you why: it can't see your network, the password was rejected, or your router didn't give it an address.

Bluetooth setup now reads your printer's identity and Wi-Fi settings while pairing. If it's a printer Backfeed already knows, it offers to open it instead of rewriting its configuration and rebooting it — and it remembers your network name (never your password) for the next printer you set up. Fixed: opening a printer's details page or the setup guide no longer asks for Bluetooth permission before you've done anything that needs it. Plus a round of interface polish across printers, labels, and printing.
