BAUER CONNECT™ REMOTE TELEMETRY AND CONTROL VIA MOBILE APP
Bauer Connect™ is an app-based IOT solution which allows Bauer customers to remotely monitor and control their Bauer Compressor system. The Bauer Connect™ app is designed for mobility and works on most current-model iOS based wireless mobile devices.
The Bauer Connect™ app provides “push notifications” to the app user if critical parameters of the Bauer Compressor system fall outside of normal operating range or if triggered by an overall system alert. This ensures that all essential personnel who are responsible for the operation of the Bauer Compressor system are notified immediately via an alert on their mobile device, allowing for pro-active intervention in a situation which could potentially be detrimental to the Bauer Compressor system and / or the customer's operation.
The Bauer Mobile Dashboard™function within the app provides a simple visual dashboard-type overview of the compressor system which allows the user to monitor all critical functions and values of their Bauer Compressor system in real-time. The Bauer Mobile Dashboard™ also displays real-time system status as well as all current system alerts and faults.
The Bauer Remote HMI™function within the app allows Bauer factory-trained technical personnel to remotely control the Bauer Compressor system with the exact same functionality as if they were standing in front of the unit. This feature allows authorized technical personnel to remotely change system parameters, perform troubleshooting tasks and reset the system (if warranted) in order to maintain maximum system performance and uptime.
The Bauer Reports™function within the app is able to display any historical data of the Bauer Compressor system via a multitude of standard and customized reports. Besides visualizing historical compressor system parameters Bauer Reports™ can visualize volumetric air / gas flow, gas quality metrics and any other relevant performance metric which may be important to the customer over time.
The Bauer Predictive Analytics™function of the app (slated to be released in 2019) will utilize proprietary artificial intelligence algorithms to optimize system performance and predict potential system faults before they occur so that pro-active action can be taken by technical personnel in order to preserve maximum system uptime.
In the future, important information such as system operating instructions, manuals, maintenance schedules and parts information which is currently available through the Bauer Customer Support Web-Portal will also be able to be accessed via the Bauer Connect™ app.
