BdayMate – Never forget a birthday again
BdayMate is your place for every important date: birthdays, name days, anniversaries, and other occasions. Add dates in seconds, set reminders, get message ideas, and see what’s coming—all in one simple app.
Add and organize every type of event
Create events for Birthday, Name Day, Anniversary, or Other. For each one you set the name, day, and month; you can add the year (e.g. for “Turning 30 this year”), notes, and a short description (e.g. “Anniversary”, “Pet’s birthday”). Everything is stored in one list and sorted by the next occurrence, so you always see what’s soonest.
Reminders that work the way you want
Choose when you want to be reminded: on the day, 1 day before, 3 days before, 1 week before, or 2 weeks before. You can also set a custom “X days before” reminder. For each event you pick a notification time (e.g. morning or evening). Optionally add a custom reminder message (e.g. “Buy a gift”, “Call them”, “Send a card”) so the notification tells you exactly what to do. Notifications are rescheduled when you open the app, so they stay accurate.
Message ideas for every occasion
Not sure what to write ? BdayMate offers message ideas for each event type. For birthdays you get casual (with or without emojis), family-oriented, and more formal options. Same for name days, anniversaries, and other occasions. Use them as-is, copy and paste, or adapt them. You can browse ideas from the event detail screen whenever you’re about to send a wish.
See what’s coming: sections and counts
Events are grouped into clear sections: This week, In 2 weeks, This month, Next month, In 3 months, and Later. For each event you see how soon it is (e.g. “In 5 days”, “In 1 week”, “In 2 weeks”). If you added a year, the app shows “Turning X this year” and the date of birth. Reminder and notification time are shown on the detail screen so you know when you’ll be reminded and at what time.
Find and manage events easily
Use search by name to find any person or event quickly. Swipe to delete events you no longer need. Add new events with the + button; edit name, date, type, year, notes, reminder, and message from the Add/Edit screen. A “Today” badge at the top shows the current date so the list is easy to read.
