BloodCOMM is a highly intuitive, blood program management software application that allows users to wirelessly connect to existing APRU 6L Portable Medical Refrigerators and Delta ICE 2L Smart Blood Coolers. It is the next evolution in mobile blood management to ensure compliance with Blood Banks, Hospitals, and Agency Directors.
The app extends the functionality of existing APRU & ICE units in the following ways:
- Real-time Temperature Monitoring and Recording
- Close Range, Bluetooth Monitoring
- Remote, Cellular Monitoring (currently available for Delta ICE)
- Download, Export, and Email Reports (PDF or CSV)
- View Temperature History
- View Temperature Graphs
- View Exact Excursion Dates, Times, and Temperatures
- Record static snapshots of data for sharing or storage
- Assign Nicknames to Individual Units
- Wirelessly monitor and receive notifications for approaching excursions, low battery, and active excursions.

The Delta ICE provides monitored storage of blood products, vaccines, virus samples, and temperature-controlled medications for extended periods of time. Utilizing a smart monitoring system, the cooler will alert of temperature excursions and report when it is time to change the internal ICE pack.

BloodCOMM has been updated with a brand new login page:
- Users will now enter the email first, then click 'continue' before entering their password.
- Google OAuth is available, account linking is automatic.
- SSO / SAML login is available, contact support if interested.
Additionally, this version includes:
- Improvements to the GPS
- An Auto-Archive policy is now available for Premium users, to automatically clean up their Blood Dashboard.
- The GPS Dashboard now optionally shows the last 7 days of location history.
