Multiple windows — open several shells on one connection and switch between them from a tab strip under the title bar. Rename or close a window from its tab. With a hardware keyboard, ⌘T opens a window, ⌘⇧] and ⌘⇧[ cycle through them, and ⌘1–⌘9 jump straight to one. In tmux mode the window commands are handed to tmux. Split panes — typing exit in one pane now closes just that pane instead of dropping the whole connection. VNC — connect to a Mac's Screen Sharing from the app. Opens as a normal session tab with an on-screen keyboard, trackpad-style pointer, and paste. The session bar warns "Not encrypted" because ARD only protects the password, not the screen or keystrokes. iCloud sync fixes — a second device would never import your connections, and worse, could wipe the first device's list while saying it synced. Also, one connection the app didn't recognise used to break the entire import silently. Both fixed. Network scanner — scan your LAN for SSH servers and tap a result to create a connection, no typing the address. Terminal — added a shift key to the keyboard bar (works with ctrl/opt, and fixes ctrl/opt+arrow along the way), and fixed garbled Powerline glyphs in tmux on older servers.

Bracket now includes a built-in AI assistant that can help you manage your servers directly from your terminal. Ask it to run commands, troubleshoot issues, install packages, or configure services — the AI reads your terminal output, understands context, and executes commands on your behalf with your approval. It works alongside your SSH sessions so you never have to leave the app. Whether you're a seasoned sysadmin or just getting started with Linux, the AI assistant acts as a knowledgeable co-pilot right inside your terminal. Also new in this release: a redesigned keyboard accessory bar with grouped keys, CTRL modifier support for on-screen keyboard, paste and colon keys, and larger touch targets for easier use.
