Britain is full of places that don't show up in a "fastest route". brieflylost takes you to them.
Tell the app where you want to go — in plain English. "A scenic drive from Brighton to Bath." "Take me to the Lake District through
the countryside." "Edinburgh to Glasgow with a pub stop." Behind the scenes, an AI route planner reads your query, picks coastal
roads, country lanes, or quiet B-roads, and routes through the cafes, viewpoints, or landmarks you asked for as proper waypoints — not just suggestions on the side. Then it's full turn-by-turn navigation. Voice guidance, lane assistance, automatic re-routing if you go off course. Just like the apps you already use, only the route was actually chosen for the drive, not the deadline.
WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT
• Natural-language route planning. No menus, no filters — just describe the drive you want.
• Genuine scenic routes built from real OpenStreetMap data. Every road class, every gradient, every coastline, weighed and chosen for
you.
• Plan ahead or set off now. Plan Mode lets you preview a route, share it via deep link, and start it later. Navigate Mode picks up
from your current location.
• Stops that mean something. Ask for "a cafe stop" or "somewhere with a view" and the app routes through real places, not generic
markers.
• UK-focused. Built around UK roads, postcodes, and place names — Lake District, Cotswolds, Scottish Highlands, Snowdonia, the South
Downs.
