This application was developed by the Continental Express transportation and logistics company for internal and independent owner-operated Truck Drivers to manage and improve their trucking businesses.
The app is designed for iPad, iPhone and CarPlay.
The app serves as a messaging platform between the driver and the dispatch and allows the driver to view trip details, navigate the delivery route, and report trip status to HQ.
Dashboard provides the driver with convenient access to their next job.
The details shown on the dashboard include the current location temperature, truck temperature, and next trip details.
The driver can see trip details, the route with pickup, and destination locations on the map.
Trip Details helps the drivers to navigate the truck across the route and see detailed destination information.
1. The driver can see the stops along the route with an approximate arrival time.
2. The driver can expand trip details and see Customer and Load information.
3. In-app navigation provides voice guidance to keep their eyes on the road.
4. The driver can add custom stops for food, gas and more.
5. When the driver reaches one of the stops, they can send a status update to the dispatch.
Messaging system lets the drivers communicate with dispatch.
1. Drivers receive updates from the dispatch.
2. The driver can see their communication history with the dispatch.
3. The drivers compose a new message and even dictate the messages hands-free.
4. The system allows sending status updates using the predefined message templates (macros).
Search gives the driver an option to find points of interest and navigate there.
1. The drivers can select a category to search for.
2. The search results are shown on the map.
3. Selected points of interest can be added to the route.
Weather panel updates the driver with the weather conditions.
1. The driver can see an hourly and a 7-days forecast.
2. Drivers can see the local conditions as well as at other destinations.
Profile section provides drivers with personal and payment info.
1. Directory of company and emergency contacts
2. The payment tab shows the projections and payment info for past and current months.
Settings allow the driver to control app behavior like notifications, sounds, theme and more.
