Advanced Tracking & Analysis
Powered by a proprietary sensor fusion algorithm, Coaster Logger leverages data from your phone’s GPS, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, and microphone to capture every twist, turn, and scream. If you’re wearing a compatible smartwatch, the app can also track your heart rate, providing an even deeper insight into your thrill levels. The automatically generated analysis includes:
- 3D animated models of your ride with key coaster metrics, explorable in AR.
- Estimations for track length, ride duration, speed, and g-forces (laterals and verticals)
- Counts and durations for drops and airtime moments.
- Height estimations
- Inversion counts, by angle and duration.
- Heart rate from companion watch app.
- Scream intensity based on decibels captured by the microphone.
- Location details from reverse-geocoding, including maps
Achievements
As you log more rides, you’ll earn badges and track your lifetime highlights, from the fastest and tallest to the most inverted coasters. You can also organise your roller coaster adventures by park or by season, and build personalised lists. Achievements you can earn includes:
- Coaster Credit badges, for counting achievements.
- Hyper, Giga, and Strata badges for coasters based on height.
- Tourist, Traveller, Explorer badges for international rides.
- Centrifuge, Cheetah, Jet Pilot badges for unique ride experiences.
- And many more
A calendar heat map visually tracks your roller coaster journey, and you can view your fastest, highest, or most thrilling rides at a glance.
Tiers
Coaster Logger is free to use and is intended for both roller coaster enthusiasts and any amusement park / theme park goers alike. You can subscribe to one of the tiers to support the development and R&D of the underlying coaster fusion algorithm.
- Free: Unlimited analyses, but store up to 20 coasters.
- Plus: Store unlimited coasters, priority processing, export of processed data and 3D models, and additional customization options.
- Pro: For commercial use with dedicated support.
