How It Works
Every time you spot a sale, log it. Just three taps — pick the category, choose the store, set the discount. That's it. No accounts, no cloud sync required, no complexity.
As your diary grows, Discount Diary's built-in cycle engine analyses your observations and starts surfacing intelligent insights. When was the last time this item went on sale? How often does it typically cycle? Is now a good time to buy, or should you wait a few more weeks?

Sale Cycle Insights — The Insights tab analyses your logged data and calculates readiness scores, average discount depths, and cycle timing for each category-store pair. Know when "Buy Now" is genuinely the right call.
Buy Signals — Each insight gets a smart signal: Buy Now, Coming Soon, Watch, or Wait. Stop guessing and start shopping strategically.
Archive and Heatmaps — The Archive screen gives you a historical view of every category's discount history, plus monthly heat maps (Pro) that show which months historically deliver the deepest cuts.
Categories and Stores — Built-in categories cover everyday staples: Clothing, Electronics, Groceries, Home, Beauty, and more. Built-in stores cover major retailers. Add your own custom categories and stores anytime.
Fully Customisable — Edit or hide any built-in category or store. Your diary reflects your shopping life, not a generic template.
Beautiful Themes — Four hand-crafted colour themes for Pro users: Parchment (the warm default), Midnight (dark mode), Forest (deep green), and Dusk (soft purple). Switch anytime from Settings.
Backup and Restore — Export your entire diary as a JSON file to iCloud Documents and restore it at any time. Your data is always yours.
