It’s now quicker and easier for new users to sign up and set a password - and, if you’ve got it enabled, passwords will be securely stored in your iCloud Keychain so you don’t have to worry about remembering it or typing it in again. - Speed and performance bug fixes. Don’t forget, if you’ve got an iPhone 7 or up, you can use NFC to make unlocking a doddle. In this release, we’ve added more security features to make getting around even more safe and reliable. Here’s what’s new: - At the discretion of your building manager, keys can now be geo-fenced to work when you’re near the right lock. We only ask for GPS permission when it’s necessary, and don’t worry - your data is never stored or sent to us, and it’ll never run in the background. Further updates to NFC functionality. — With iOS11 we’re thrilled to bring you native NFC and QR code support! It means you’ll now be able to unlock doors with just a tap against our Tiles (iPhone 7 and up), or scan a QR code to open up in seconds. Add the new Doordeck Button widget to Today View for quick one-touch access. Elsewhere, we’ve made other improvements under the hood to make the app even more reliable and speedy. Visitor Passes are now available! Now with just an email address, admins can share time-limited guest passes with just a tap of the share button.
