Beacons "Light a beacon" moved into the + menu, right alongside Public/Private Event — the old gold button on the map is gone. Fixed a bug where lighting a beacon from that new + menu didn't actually work. Fixed dropping out of a beacon — tapping "Dropped in " wasn't actually removing you before. The beacon's flame icon on the map now has a real flickering/pulsing animation (and a thinner flame) instead of a static icon. The Events/Beacons filter chips at the top of the map now actually filter what's shown, and sit tighter under the search bar. The beacon detail popup no longer overlaps the bottom navigation bar. Drippy Drippy himself is now properly draggable (he wasn't actually moving before, even though it looked like he should) His speech bubble can now be dragged separately from him. The small docked circle (when he's hidden) is also draggable now.

Sync your calendar — Connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar from Settings (or right on an event) and every event you host or join stays synced automatically, with a quick calendar shortcut now in the side menu too. Groups, redesigned — Browse your groups in a new swipeable card view, and each group now has its own Posts tab — share ideas, run polls, and turn a popular idea straight into an event. Smarter sharing — Shared event links now open directly to the right event, and look cleaner when shared in Messages. Fixes — resolved a crash viewing an event from group chat, corrected past-event labels on your calendar, and various other polish.

Polls in Group Chats — Ask your group a question and watch votes come in live, right in the chat. Never Miss a New Event — Get notified when a new public event is posted, so you can be first to drop in. Photo Fixes — Photos now show up correctly on profiles and album uploads work reliably from the moment an event starts. Easier Sharing — Share DropIn with friends straight from Settings. Plus general bug fixes, including a fix for event editing and a smoother chat experience.

New features - Secret event locations — hosts can now hide an event's address until they're ready to reveal it (manually, or automatically 1hr/3hrs/day-of before start). Attendees see date/time as normal, just not the location until it unlocks. There's a new "Secret" tab in the events list for these. - Co-hosting — hosts can invite another person or one of their groups to be listed as a co-host on an event. The invitee (or a group admin) has to accept first. Purely a credit/visibility thing — "Hosted by" now shows everyone once accepted. - Cleaner recurring events on profiles — instead of showing "Run Club" five times in a row on someone's profile, recurring events now collapse into one tile with a count badge and a Weekly/Monthly label; tap it to see every past occurrence. - Redesigned Notifications — grouped into Today/Yesterday/Earlier, color-coded by type, with filter tabs (All/My events/People/Nearby), a "Mark all read" button, and a new "Clear all notifications" option. Connection requests can now be accepted or ignored right from the notification. Fixes - Connection-request notifications no longer get stuck showing "Accept/Ignore" after you've already accepted them elsewhere. - Map pins briefly disappeared for all existing events after a backend update — fixed. - A few host-controls placement/visibility bugs around the new secret-location and co-host buttons.

- Public/Private toggle — Hosts can now switch an event between public and private anytime, right from the event page. - Invite from the app — Invite people you're connected with directly to an event, no phone number required. - Shareable private events — Private events can now be shared with a simple link instead of inviting people one by one. - Remove attendees — Hosts can now remove someone from their event if needed. - Event photo albums — Drop photos from the event into a shared album everyone who attended can see. - Easier event editing — Editing an event now uses the same simple flow as creating one. - Bigger, easier-to-read chat text - Better link previews — Shared event links and Instagram stories now always show a photo, even if the host didn't upload one.

What's New in 1.1.2 - Faster sign-in — no more entering a code every time you log in with email; only needed the first time on a new device - Recurring events — hosts can now set an event to repeat weekly or monthly, with one shared map pin, one shared group chat, and an option to drop into the whole series at once - New photo crop tool — resize and crop any photo you upload before it's used - Free event tickets — capacity-limited free events now issue a real ticket, not just paid ones - Cleaner event cards & creation flow — event title front and center, description no longer required, edit screen fixed to match creation - Boards — delete your own comments, smoother post animations - Sharing fixes — event links now open directly to the event (not just the app), include the location, and show the correct date on Instagram - Bug fixes — tutorial no longer repeats, calendar month labels visible, stretched profile photos fixed, and more

- Share events with anyone — Tap the share icon on any event to send it via text, email, or any of your iPhone's sharing options. The link shows a rich preview with the event's photo and title. - Shared links open the exact event — Tapping a shared invite link takes you straight into the event inside the app. If you don't have DropIn yet, it sends you directly to the App Store to download it. - Fixed hosting events outside the US — Canadian and other non-US postal codes no longer block you from creating an event. - Fixed a bug blocking event creation when adding keywords to your event. - Faster time picker — Setting an event's start/end time now defaults to typing it in instead of scrolling a wheel. - Tap to enlarge event photos — Event cover photos can now be tapped to view full-size. - Fixed the keyboard covering text fields (keywords, description, price) while creating an event.

- Each group now has its own group chat - Chats are now organized into Direct, Groups, and Events tabs - The map and events list now show the same events, sorted by date - You now stay signed in after closing the app - Event pins stay accurately placed when you zoom the map - Visual polish and stability improvements
