Leave a file exactly where it's needed.
DropNear turns any real-world spot into a place to hand off files. Drop a file on the map — a meeting room, a lecture hall, a trade-show booth — and anyone standing inside the zone can grab it. No email threads, no shared links, no accounts. They just have to be there.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a file (or several) and tap a spot on the map.
2. Set the radius, an expiry, and an optional download limit.
3. Share it — people nearby see it under "Drops near you," or scan the QR / type the 6-character code.
WHY DROPNEAR
• Presence is the password. Being in the right place is what unlocks the file.
• Zero friction for receivers — no app required. Anyone can grab a drop from the web with a code.
• Built for real moments: seminars, classrooms, workshops, conferences, offices, meetups, pop-ups.
FEATURES
• Drop one file or a whole bundle (up to 10)
• QR + short unlock code for indoors — works even when GPS is weak
• Adjustable radius, from a single room to a whole venue
• Auto-expiry — drops clean themselves up
• Download limits, including burn-after-reading
• Optional PIN for private drops
• Works indoors — the code unlocks a drop even where GPS is weak
• Manage and revoke your drops anytime
• No account needed to send or receive
PERFECT FOR
• Speakers handing slides to a room
• Teachers sharing materials with a class
• Organizers dropping maps, schedules and forms at the venue
• Teams passing files across a meeting room
PRIVACY
Your location is only used to find drops around you — never tracked or sold. Files are stored temporarily and deleted on expiry or once their download limit is reached.
Drop a file. Walk away. Whoever's there gets it.
